LOL WOW WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME I EVEN POSTED HERE ASKJDH anyways, got tagged by yaocchi to blabber about my narcoleptic boy a little. :3c feel free to give me a holler down below if you want me to drop tidbits about my other characters too!

1. Eiric will always be the first to break eye contact during any interaction. Unless it's srs bsns, he'll always be staring pointedly at something else. Like that one guy's receding hairline, or that flower pot that's juuust off to the side...anything but the eyes, please.
2. Absolute shit at small talk. It's not (always) for lack of trying on his part either. Conversations just seem to wither and die in his presence.
3. Prefers to sleep on his left side. Ideal napping environment is in his room with the afternoon sun filtering through the curtains. The one time he had insomnia for a week was literally hell on earth, as far as he was concerned. Being woken up for no good reason (or even just a moderately good one) will land you on his bad side for weeks.
4. His sister cuts his hair, on the rare occasion that it happens. He's been letting her mess with it since they were kids, since it was an easy way to keep her distracted. She is 100% the reason why there are braids in his current hairstyle.
5. Despite his upbringing, not a very cautious spender. It's a good thing most of his money gets funneled back to his family. If nothing else, that's the one thing he's fastidious about.
6. He had a girlfriend once--a cheerful young lady from the neighboring village he grew up in. They broke it off once they realized they couldn't work past their differences*, but it was an amiable split. She's married now and he doesn't think too hard about it.
* i.e. she only slept five hours a day and was perfectly okay with it, much to his eternal befuddlement. And for some reason, she'd always insisted that he try it too.
7. SUCCUMBS EASILY TO PEER PRESSURE jk it's more like he'll just do w/e it is to get it over with and stop people from bothering him. As long as it doesn't hurt him physically or fiscally, Eiric is quite willing to just shrug it off.
8. He took up a rifle as his current weapon because pulling back a bow for every shot was a royal pain in the butt. There is literally no other reason.

hiatus announcement

I will be taking a much-needed break from groups and internet social life-ing starting...a few days ago actually! Just thought I'd make an actual announcement out of it so that people don't wonder where I've suddenly disappeared to.
You may still see my username in chatrooms. I like the background 'noise' (don't ask). That being said though, please don't take it to heart if I don't get back to you immediately on roleplays/projects/whatever. I just need to get some distance to better judge what exactly it is that I want out of my time. And chances are, you probably deserve better than my half-hearted efforts. I've tried to do my best to get things with actual deadlines out of the way before this hiatus though, so hopefully that won't be an issue at any point either.
As for when I will be coming back?
